In a momentous showing at Phillips Auction House in New York, contemporary artist Beau Dunn unveiled her captivating series of "Glam Barbies." Delving into the depths of American materialism and our society's obsession with image, Dunn's multimedia practice offers a thought-provoking exploration of childhood innocence.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was a stunning chromogenic prints adorned with Swarovski crystals, presented during the 18 November 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session. The glamorous and sparkling 'Glam Barbie [#1-6],' created in 2021, captivated viewers with their intricate details and cultural commentary. UNICEF USA x NEXT GENERATION COVID-19, PLASTIC GALLERY

Plastic Gallery and visual artist Beau Dunn collaborated for an exclusive art exhibition benefiting UNICEF USA's COVID-19 response. From August 20th to September 20th, 2021, Plastic Gallery presented a solo show titled "Next Generation: Need Money For.." by Beau Dunn. Collectors had the opportunity to purchase Dunn's limited edition neon sculptures, available in two sizes, with each piece being part of an edition of four. These new sculptures served as the latest additions to Dunn's thought-provoking "Next Generation: Need Money For.." series.

Each sculpture was meticulously crafted in Dunn's Los Angeles studio, drawing inspiration from current events and consumerism, offering a reflective commentary on life during the period of 2020/2021. Additionally, for the first time, Dunn introduced limited edition prints, allowing collectors to acquire one of the 99 prints depicting her captivating neon signs. This collaborative art endeavor not only provided art enthusiasts with exceptional artworks but also supported UNICEF USA's vital response efforts during the global pandemic.
